The character featured in this picture is her gorgeous mare Leila. I really loved her design, and colour scheme...and everything else about her, so I couldn't resist drawing her.
I thought I'd go for a spacescape for this picture, since I've been wanting to do another one for a while now and fits the message of the picture, I should add that every single star on this was done painstakingly by me! I'm glad I didn't use a photoshop brush set to make them, it makes the result seem so much more satisfying.
The mountains were such a pain too, but only cause they take so long to shade.
Oh, and the wings...let me say first that wings are one of my biggest enemies when it comes to art, I have tried yet another technique for doing wings, every single picture in my gallery uses a different technique, this one any good?
