Fluttershy Figurineby ~Malcassairo

Another customised My Little Pony figurine.
This time of the character Fluttershy. At the moment, she doesn't have a figurine that accurately looks like her. I purchased a Fluttershy figurine from the shops, and re-sculpted the mane and tail, re-painted the iris, added her lower eyelashes, and painted her cutie mark on the other side so that it's on both sides of her body.

I'm very pleased with the result. She looks just how she should and not like a repainted Rainbow Dash.

She's up for sale on ebay at the moment for anyone who's interested.

May I asked what type of materials you used to make this? I got myself two fluttershys today, and I'm hoping to do something like this to one of them. Did you use straight pink of whatever you used to mold? Or did you mold with a base one and paint over it?

I used a shop bought air dry clay for the sculpting, and rolled it in some red paint to make it go pink, then I sculpted it onto her. Afterwards, once the clay dried I went over it with a pink paint to make sure that the mane and tail were the same colour.

Amazing! the mane and tail look so perfectly like the show, and good touch to add her cutiemark on the other flank, that's so good, I can't understand why hasbro is just adding in one side the cutiemarks, but you.. you did something cool! well done!

Yeah, it's a bit strange that Hasbro made toys for all the main characters but Fluttershy. Surely it wouldn't have been that difficult for them to make a toy of her?

I just couldn't believe my eyes when I found out how much Doctor Whooves sold for!

These little ponies really are my good luck charms, they're really helping me out financially.
I haven't actually done any custom ponies for anyone yet - just characters from the show, and they seem to sell for $30+. If you're interested in one let me know.
